WE ARE YOUR LOCAL.

Chances are, you've probably seen us before... We are the crew behind Crankworx New Zealand, Legend of the Peaks, the Enduro World Series NZ events and for a while, we helped our mate Craig Murray do all the operations for the Giant 2W Gravity Enduro up until 2022-23.

We are also the same crew that own Tohu Experiences and the Mountain Bike Rotorua group of businesses.

The MDA Group of businesses is a family owned group based in Rotorua, New Zealand. Takurua Mutu and partner Jayne Hendrikse, along with Tuhua Mutu and partner Janine Kavanagh, own and operate companies from their home town, working alongside family and friends to make epic experiences through events and tours.

WE ARE ALL ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE.

The group first started in 1989, bringing international schools to Aotearoa New Zealand for week long experiences, meshing adventure and culture together for a unique, genuine and epic time in The Land of the Long White Cloud.

While the international school division of the business still operates event to this day, events have become one of the biggest parts of the group, owning, managing and supporting corporate, sports and community events of all shapes and sizes throughout the country.
